our good friends at westboro baptist church (the god hates fags people) having apparently run out of alive, ailing, or recently dead homosexuals to protest about, have now turned their attentions to long dead "may have been homosexuals." their latest protest site: walt whitman high school in bethesda, maryland.(maybe the students at wwhs will take a cue from the university of chicago's alpha delta phi frat boys in welcoming their guests from westboro.)
i'm a huge Whitman fan and it was my understanding that he WAS gay and that he didn't hide it.
