Dear Eric Dilner, Suzanne Hefty, Skylight Board of Directors and Board of Advocates:
It is with extreme sadness that I withdraw from performing in “A Day in Hollywood/A Night in the Ukraine”. The anticipation of once again sharing the stage with dear friends to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Skylight Opera Theatre was truly exciting. It is now impossible. The manner in which things are being handled at the Skylight is a disgrace to our community.
For the past 20 years I have had the good fortune to perform on the Skylight stage where it was an honor to be able to share my gifts of music, drama and humor with my fellow colleagues and audience members. What a horrible disappointment to all.
Sincerely,
Carol Greif Schuele

Carol has joined the fray. A brave move by another of Skylight's finest, another I've always been proud to have as a Skylight friend for life. Who is next? When will this end?
ReplyDeleteThere has been literally centuries of Skylight experience walk out the door today. Carol is another two decades, Bill three, Richard two plus, valcq three, leslie three, etc, etc...
ReplyDeleteDoesn't take long to get to over 100 years.
Carol...you are pure class, through and through. Brava, my friend.
