Betty-san reps for Texas Dist-4, with an Asian population of 0.6% of the total population of the district, or about 1,000 people. If she can't wrap her tounge around a dipthong, she needn't worry as there are no identifiable persons of Asian background at any level of government within her district, including Gun Barrel City, TX and Tool, TX.
ReplyDeleteAlthough Betty bet get a handle on the whole Kaufman v. Dallas feud before it gets all east coast/west coast on her.
From the Kaufman, TX visitor page:
"If you want to come and see what Dallas is all about, let us suggest that you stay in Kaufman."
Or maybe she needs to focus more on education:

And from her home office in Terrell, TX come these gems: Terrell has 52 registered sex offenders but only 20 people with one of the ten most common Chinese or Vietnamese surnames (although I'm not sure about Myrtle Do).
I wonder what the opinion of Mr. Sopha Nop is of all this. Mr. Nop (heritage unknown) is the owner of Cowboy Discount Liquors in Terrell and is a major contributor to the Republican National Committee, having ponied up $1,950 to the RNC in the last go-'round and the closest thing to an "Asian" surname that appears on any contributors lists for the district.
