Richard Poplawski, 23, met officers at the doorway and shot two of them in the head immediately. An officer who tried to help the two also was killed. Poplawski had feared "the Obama gun ban that's on the way" and "didn't like our rights being infringed upon," said Edward Perkovic, his best friend.

you can't look at one deranged psycho (or two or three - recent news) and deny the rest of the law-abiding gun owners their right to bear arms. period. once you start regulating what people can and can't own, you open up a can of worms that will someday turn into the repeal of the 2nd Amendment. honestly, tony, do you really think that if the laws were any different that psychos like poplawski still wouldn't be able to get their hands on guns????
