this is who the gay community is. these parents. our community is not just other gays and lesbians, it's our parents, our grandparents, our brothers, our sisters, our aunts and uncles. our friends – straight and gay. our clergy, our neighbors.
we are couples, we are gatherings of friends, we are neighborhoods.
we are families.

Sorry to highjack your blog, but I hope you will come and urge all your friends and neighbors to attend. There is a protest sponsored by the National Organization of Marriage (the terrible Gathering Storm Commercial people) the same day, and hopefully this rally of love can overshadow the hateful one!!!!
