an avalanche of gokey fail

not exactly viral. yet. but this danny gokey video is certainly making the internet rounds. it's from his "welcome home" trip to milwaukee last friday. as someone who relied heavily on lyric sheets and chord charts when i played in a band, i know what it's like to have the wind whip away your words. but i wasn't an american idol. this performance makes his prominent status on votefortheworst.com almost, well, deserved.

    Gosh, cut the guy some slack. He has had to rehearse and rehearse every day for the show, so who cares if he messed up the lines to Billie Jean. Big Deal!!!! I thought his voice was still great!!!!!
