“This really is a free-speech, First Amendment issue. While I respect everyone’s choice of partner, my Catholic faith and longtime affiliation with the Catholic Church leads me to believe that marriage should be between a man and a woman.”apparently, the same goes for ugly, messy, long-drawn-out divorce.
I can't wait to see who his new "choice of partner" will be!!
ReplyDeleteAs they pointed out last night on Daily Show, it's okay to yell so loud as to drown out the other view points because, after all, it's free SPEECH, not free LISTEN.
Not really, Doug. It's more like a Fourteenth Amendment Equal Protection clause issue.
ReplyDeleteGood luck acquiring a hypocritical annullment for your sour marriage. I hope your wife takes you to the cleaners.
Although I don't wish anyone the pain of a divorce, no matter the circumtances, I do take a bit of childish glee every time some Holier Than Thou, who wants to deny my rights that they enjoy, takes a tumble.
ReplyDeleteIt is me or should the gay community start lobbying for criminal punishments for those who enjoy legal marriage, but then defile that sanctity with divorce? Where' the punishment for those people who undermine traditional marriage????
I'm just saying, is all.
If he throws enough money at the Church, they will give him an annulment. I was married for 10 years and I got one. Cost me $400 and I wrote a 15 page paper about what a jerk my ex was. Then I decided it was too long and cut a few paragraphs and changed the font, so it came down to 11.
