cindy mccain, speaking at the abbreviated opening of the republican national convention, suggested folks go to the website www.causegreater.com and give money to hurricane relief."as john has been saying for the last several days, this is a time when we take off our republican hats, and put on our american hats" cindy said, suggesting we drop the politics and take care of our fellow americans in a time of disaster.
interesting, though, that the website's header is "country first." at the bottom there's an ad suggesting you "visit johnmccain.com." the obama campaign is encouraging folks to donate to the american red cross. no obama ads on that website.
i gotta go put on my american hat now.
