if Roth (who was involved with the remake of "Alice in Wonderland") is involved and the Wizard in the prequel is supposed to be a "darker character", i'm surprised there's no talk of Tim Burton directing and Johnny Depp starring as the Wizard.
not that i'd wanna see Burton/Depp involved. that means Helena Bonham Carter would be cast too.
