hak-shing william tam, one of the five original sponsors of california's proposition 8, wants out of the court case challenging the same-sex marriage ban because "he fears for his and his family's safety," and because the case has become more time-consuming and more intrusive into his personal life than expected.
did you get that? more intrusive into his personal life.
prior to the vote on prop 8, tam told reporters if the ban didn't pass, "every child, when growing up, would fantasize marrying someone of the same sex." (you mean they don't already?) he also claimed that the "gay agenda" included "legaliz[ing] sex with children."
