social media proves "inneffective" in
protesting skylight theatre restructuring...?

and yet, the third second most popular google search sending readers to this blog is the following phrase:
suzanne hefty
hefty is the president of the skylight opera theatre board of directors. other popular searches sending record traffic to tuesdaysblog include:
skylight opera
dillner skylight
skylight opera protest
eric dillner
milwaukee theatre bloggers
skylight opera theatre controversy
readers finding tuesdaysblog by searching for the above text spent an average of 45 minutes on the blog, and viewed an average of seven pages each.

and yet, apparently "no one is reading this stuff."

  1. Strange I sit here with my hand over my mouth looking back at you. I did a self-portrait of myself 50 years ago in the same pose. Fear is a big factor as it is in Iran, but many of those who might do something are not computer literate. I have forced myself to become more proficient, but have a long way to go. However, there is also a huge lack of interest in the local media both print and TV. I'm afraid it reflects how small the local community that supports the arts in Milwaukee really is. I have gotten several to put their names on the petition and others have expressed interest, but it is going to be a long hall. Thanks for all that you have done.
