his name is tomoki takahashi.he's been the heart of our experience in japan for the last two months. company manager, stage manager, travel agent, tour guide, translator, bellman, and i'm proud to say, friend. we thought he'd be with us until the tour ended and we had to head back home. but noooooo. this was just another one of the lies he pulled out of his infamous fanny pack ("the bus ride will only be three hours.") he's left us to go and take care of the count basie orchestra, and now we have to survive a week and a half without him.
